  • AC Milan appointed Sergio Conceicao as their new manager after dismissing Paulo Fonseca, aiming to improve performance in Serie A
  • Conceicao signed a contract until June 30, 2026, as Milan seeks to restore its competitive edge in domestic and European competitions

AC Milan have announced the appointment of Portuguese coach Sergio Conceicao as their new manager. The Serie A club confirmed the decision on Monday, following the dismissal of Paulo Fonseca.

Conceicao has signed a contract with the Rossoneri that runs until June 30, 2026. The club expressed optimism about the future under his leadership.

The decision to part ways with Fonseca came after Milan struggled to maintain consistent form in the Serie A campaign, jeopardising their push for Champions League qualification.

“AC Milan announces that Paulo Fonseca has been relieved from his duties as Head Coach of the Men’s First Team,” the club stated.
